Caving at Mole Creek:
Tasmania is a mecca for cavers. For 35 years Deb Hunter, local caver and conservationist, ran Wild Cave Tours, a business licensed and Ecotourism Association Australia accredited. The business closed in 2025. Tours allowed nature lovers to explore Mole Creekâs undeveloped caves and World Heritage Area: nature immersion, adventure, science and culture.
I have not stopped caving. I am a caver!
Tour clients have kept coming back over the years. Thank you! I have truly loved every single trip. Due to popular demand, as promised, you are welcome to contact Deb for informal trips. See Caveside Caving for information.
Aboriginal land: The caves’ location is Nupawula kooparoona niara (Great Western Tiers), cultural landscape of the pallatorre people of lutruwita. We acknowledge and pay our respects to the elders past, present and emerging. We work beside present aboriginal custodians. We honour and respectfully interpret this living culture to visitors.
